Job Description

As an Associate Director supporting product launches, you will play a critical role in bringing new aesthetic neurotoxins and new indications to market. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of product launches, from initial concept through commercialization. This role requires a deep understanding of the aesthetic industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Launch Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive product launch plans.
    • Define go-to-market strategies, including target market identification, positioning, and pricing.
    • Collaborate with marketing, sales, regulatory, global commercial development, medica affairs and other teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  2. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Define requirements for market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape and work closely with the market research teams to execute.
    • Analyze data to inform product positioning and launch strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
  3. Project Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
    • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.
  4. Regulatory and Compliance:
    • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and standards.
    • Collaborate with regulatory affairs to obtain necessary approvals and certifications.
  5. Customer Engagement:
    • Ensure VOC (voice of the customer) is present in the decision-making regarding launches.
    • Work closely with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders
    • Provide training and support to sales teams and customers.
  6. Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Monitor product performance and gather post-launch feedback.
    • Identify areas for improvement and work with GCD (global commercial development) to implement enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the medical device/ pharma industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching medical devices or related products.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the medical device industry.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
